Let's go to India!
Yoga in India
In the serene cradle of ancient lands, where the golden sun kisses the earth and the breeze hums the forgotten hymns of creation, Kriya Yoga awakens—a sacred dance between body and soul, born from the mystical heart of India.
Imagine the dawn of civilization, when luminous sages sat in stillness beneath sacred trees, seeking communion with the Divine. Through breath and meditation, they discovered pathways that bridged heaven and earth—revealing the art of yoga, the eternal union of breath, movement, and spirit. Across millennia, this wisdom flowed through chants and scriptures, woven into the sacred verses of the Vedas and Upanishads. In India, the birthplace of yoga, to study these teachings is to touch the pulse of the infinite—it transforms the soul and deepens the understanding of life itself.
When I first discovered the spiritual depths of Kriya Yoga, I was humbled. Even with 800 documented teacher training hours, I realized how little I knew of yoga’s divine essence. Beyond the physical postures lies a pilgrimage of the heart—a journey inward, toward unity with universal consciousness. Each breath becomes a prayer, each movement a devotion, honoring the vast potential that resides within.
Now, as I continue my studies in India, I invite my students to lean into their edge, to stretch not just the body but the spirit—to become comfortable in discomfort. For it is within that sacred tension that transformation is born.
In our modern, chaotic world, yoga offers sanctuary—a temple of stillness amidst the noise. The mat becomes an altar, each posture a hymn of gratitude. True strength is found not in muscle, but in the quiet expanse of the mind and the luminous peace of the heart.
Close your eyes and imagine the ancient yogis, seated beneath the whispering banyan trees, their hearts beating in rhythm with the cosmos. Let us honor their legacy—for yoga is more than a practice; it is a living transmission of love and wisdom, uniting generations in peace and presence.
Today, I lead students to India to experience the sacred essence of this tradition firsthand. Each journey is crafted to meet the individual soul’s calling—an awakening pilgrimage into the true heart of yoga and the eternal spirit of India.
“This day shall be the best day of my life. Today I will start with a new determination to dedicate my devotion forever at the feet of Omnipresence.”
