Begin by sitting in Siddhasana with a tall, straight spine. Rest your hands on your knees with palms facing downward. Initiate a circular breath pattern: inhale through the mouth in three parts and exhale through the nose in three parts, taking the deepest breath possible.

Maintain this cycle for 2 minutes, then hold your breath for as long as you can. Resume the circular breath with deep inhalations for another 2 minutes, followed by another breath-holding session. *
